Strasshof an der Nordbahn

The village is on Marchfeld plains, southwest from Gänserndorf. The first written mention was in the year 1310, under the name Strozze. The community development significantly affected the construction of the Northern Railways. In 1974, the former shunting and marshalling station and the heating building were constructed to Railway museum. 25 historic steam locomotives and 30 passenger and freight trains complement historical collection. The Roman - Catholic Church of St. Anthony and Martin Luther Lutheran church belong to the church building monuments.
